The First 2 Chapters of Twilight

I have just finished the first 2 Chapters of Twilight. In my opinion, they were stale.
It started off fine, almost interesting. I was really thinking that I can enjoy the series, until Bella started talking about her nightly cries. Honestly, the way she talked about it so calmly, made me irritated and just a bit creeped out. Then it all went downhill from there. There was several failed attempts of humor, many repetitive writing, and overly dramatic statements. I was going to read the third chapter tonight, but I am too afraid to. I have not lost hope in Twilight yet. I just think the start was horrible.

Hi! Welcome to Harry Potter vs. Twilight, the bog that decides it all: which series is better?
I know there are a lot of blogs like this, but I have seen so many debates about the matter, and I want to put it to rest.
I have already read all of the Harry Potter books, and watched all the movies. I will be starting the Twilight series over the summer. I also welcome debate in the comments. I will browse all Hrry Potter and Twilight fansites to get as much information as possible. Then, at the end of it all, I will put all pieces together, and decide once and for all who is truly, the better series.
